Notes From Laura Chadburn, Secretary

In attendance: Sarah Walker, Rollie Gibbs, Patti Haack, Laura Chadburn, Bill Chadburn, Sharon Rymann, Marjie Holland


We currently have $1,560.01 in the checking account. Donation money is coming in from the letters that went out.

Richard Lenz (Friends of the Academy) said the grant money is waiting for us to use. We need to submit a cost estimate for the items we want to purchase,ie: the paint/sealer, plaques and the benchs. Richard will then submit the paperwork and get a check issued. We don't know if we can use the grant money for on-going maintenance.

We are still missing pictures of the squares for 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1978. If we cannot obtain these pictures, the committee will resort to using the cover of the yearbook for those years.

The Bill Boyd Wildcat Reunion is Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Sam's Town. The cost is $40.00. The committee plans on attending and having a presentation about the Senior Square Project. Please keep this date in mind and try to attend.

Sarah is setting a meeting with Mr. Geyre to get approval for the benches with the plaques attached. (The plan is to put two benches, one on each side, of the squares in the grass area with plaques attached telling about the history of the squares and recognition for the companies who donated to the project, etc.)

The next meeting is May 5, Monday at 6:00 PM at the school.
